URC6430, URC6440: Whenever I try to copy the newly created settings.bin file to the OFA REMOTE drive, I receive the error message "Invalid MS-DOS Function". What can I do?

This error indicates there is a problem writing the new file onto the One For All. Please try connecting the remote control to a different USB slot, preferably no USB-hub, or on a different computer to better determine the source of the issue. Also ensure the settings.bin file is labeled correctly, and not for example settings(1).bin or of another filetype. In some cases, removing any previously downloaded settings.bin files also resolves the issue.

While downloading the file directly to the OFA REMOTE drive can work, in some cases, it is advised to download it to your computer first and then copy it over to the OFA REMOTE drive.
