Error -36 has been noticed on Macs running OS X 10.6.8 and below, which is caused due to the Settings.bin file not being trusted by the system.
In order to resolve this, please connect the Simple 4 remote to a Windows PC and configure it to your preferences. After the new configuration file has been uploaded to the remote, it will also upgrade the settings.bin file itself to the latest software version.
Afterwards, the error message will no longer appear, allowing you to use your Macintosh for future configurations and adjustments.
